Each glass candle dome begins life as a traditional demijohn, once used for storing and fermenting liquids. We cut, shape and finish the glass by hand, preserving its gentle curves and subtle character. Each one carries small marks of its previous use — tiny ripples, faint air bubbles, a slight variation in thickness — the evidence of a life before this one.The dome sits on a solid hardwood plinth. When placed over a lit pillar candle, the glass diffuses the flame and creates a warm, intimate light — ideal for table settings, evening wind-down, or as a simple daily ritual. Great for use outdoors in summer when the glass cloche prevents the flame from being blown out, but equally creates a cosy atmosphere when used indoors on darker days.As each piece is handmade and reclaimed, no two are identical.
